Want a New Main Street Bakery?

Farmingdale residents were recently very vocal about wanting a Main Street bakery in an  post on Patch.

When , Main Street lost its last venue that offered baked goods, with Rocky and Sons Bakery closing prior to that.

"Fdale needs a bakery desperately," commented resident Rosemarie Stauber on the Empty in Farmingdale post. "A bakery in Fdale could be very successful, done well."

Other commenters said an Italian bakery and real Italian deli are "desperately needed" after the village went from two bakeries (Rocky's and D'Luques) to none in a short time.
