Community Mourns Sudden Passing of Gary Watson

On Saturday, March 12, the community lost Gary Watson, a long-time Farmingdale resident. Watson lived on Main Street, across from Waldbaum's and above the Antique Shop. According to his roommate, he fell down the stairs at some point between 7 p.m. and midnight Friday, and his roommate found him unresponsive at the bottom of the stairs early Saturday morning.

"Gary was a long time Farmingdale resident, with many friends, who loved to cook," said his roommate DG Coop. After years of shooting pool at The Last Call on Conklin Street, Watson was recently hired as the daytime bartender.
