The Farmingdale recently helped raise money for Dominican Village, an Amityville-based non-profit, non-sectarian senior housing/assisted living facility sponsored by the Sisters of St. Dominic
The Dominican Village fosters independence and promotes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health among its residents and maximizes opportunities for socialization.
Thanks to a local fundraising program held called “Dining to Donate” the Dominican Village raised more than $200 to help fund some of its resident programs.

“The program has helped countless groups, from fire departments to the local PTA, raise funds, something which is becoming harder and harder to do these days. We’re delighted to help out neighborhood groups and organizations like Dominican Village.” said Marc Prince, director of Operations for Long Island Applebee’s.
