Bicyclist Killed In Farmingdale Car Crash
A car struck a bicyclist early Tuesday, police say.
FARMINGDALE, NY — A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a car early Tuesday in Farmingdale, Nassau police said.
A man, 37, was driving a 2008 Honda CRV southbound on Fulton Street when he was involved in a collision with a 41-year-old man riding a bicycle at the intersection of Staples Street around 5:05 a.m., police said.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at 5:11 a.m. by a police medic at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
