Crime Report: DWI Arrest, Locker Break-in

  • AnneMarie Rosa, of Farmingdale, was arrested in Hauppauge on Jan. 18 and charged with criminal mischief- intent to damage property. 
  • Jeffery Hirsch, of Bay Shore, was arrested in E. Farmingdale on Jan. 24 and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Incidents

  • On Jan. 20, a man reported to police that his locker at was broken into on Jan. 20 and jewelry was stolen.
  •  have issued composite sketches of two unknown women wanted in connection with a series of deception burglaries that are preying on elderly homeowners throughout the county. . The pair, which are believed to be working as a team, are wanted in connection with a series of residential  that began in December and have continued through January. Police say several incidents have been reported in Nassau County involving the two women. In some cases, the women worked with unknown men.
  • A husband after a Jan. 24 two-vehicle crash on Wellwood Avenue, Suffolk County Police said.
