Farmingdale Football Team Honored By Town Of Oyster Bay
A commemorative sign was presented to the Long Island Class 1 champions.

FARMINGDALE, NY — The Farmingdale High School football team was honored by the Town of Oyster Bay for winning the Long Island Class 1 Championship.
The team was presented with a commemorative sign by Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino and Receiver of Taxes Jeffrey Pravato.
The Dalers defeated Ward Melville 42-20 on Nov. 26 to win their first Long Island title since 2001 — their second overall.

This success speaks volumes about Farmingdale School District’s remarkable athletic program and the support athletes receive from their coaches, administrators, and the incredible parents who make significant sacrifices to allow their children to excel. The varsity football team, led by head coach Buddy Krumenacker, was undefeated with a perfect 12-0 record. Team Captains include Tomaso Ramos, Trevor Gayron, Jovanni Gully, Anthony Lucci, Ricky Folwork and Matt Robinson.

The Farmingdale football team was honored with a parade down Main Street on Sunday.
Farmingdale was the runner-up six times since 2001 before claiming another championship.
The Dalers defeated Massapequa 38-7 in the Nassau Championship on Nov. 19 to set up their Long Island Championship clash with Ward Melville.
