Farmingdale Girl Reported Missing Weeks Ago Is Found Safe: Police

The girl, who was reported missing on Nov. 11, was found on Thursday, police say.

Updated 4:15 p.m. Thursday: Gianna Tocco, 12, of Farmingdale, who had been reported missing on Nov. 11, was found safe on Thursday, Nassau police said.

FARMINGDALE, NY — A Farmingdale girl reported missing in early November has yet to be found, but Nassau police believe she is in the Bronx, the department stated.

Gianna Tocco, 12, was last seen at 3 p.m. Nov. 11 in Farmingdale and was reported missing to the police at 8 p.m. that night, police said.

Police described Tocco as Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 185 pounds with brown eyes and dark brown curly hair with a nose ring. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black leggings and black sandals.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding Tocco's whereabouts to contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
