Fire departments, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, community groups, and even two "Back To The Future"-inspired DeLoreans paraded down Main Street.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Farmingdale Village was swarmed by a sea of green on Sunday that would make Ringo Starr and the rest of The Beatles blush.

Hundreds of Dalers clad in green and black showed up to Main Street for the 11th Annual Farmingdale St. Patrick's Day Parade, which started around 2 p.m. Parade-goers staved off windy conditions to take in the procession.

Local fire departments, Nassau police, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, the Farmingdale Public Library, and plenty of other groups marched in the parade, waving at people lined up on both sides of Main Street.
