Farmingdale Woman Celebrates 100th Birthday

FARMINGDALE, NY — Julie Brey, a Farmingdale resident, celebrated her 100th birthday on Nov. 2, according to a news release from New York State Sen. Steve Rhoads's Office.

Brey celebrated her birthday at Lotus in Farmingdale with friends and family.

"Julie proves that age is just a number, as her zest for life, passion for fishing and gardening, and unconditional love for her family and friends is what inspires everyone around her to live life to the fullest," Rhoads's Office stated. "Senator Rhoads offered his warmest congratulations on this remarkable achievement and wished for many more years of good health, happiness, and joy."
