Farmingdale's Halloween Parade Will March Down Main St. Next Week
The family-friendly event will feature costume contests, a petting zoo, pony rides, and of course, candy on October 30.

FARMINGDALE, NY —On Saturday, October 30, families decked out in costume can parade down Main St. in Farmingdale. The town's annual Halloween Parade is set to kick off at 1:30 p.m. at Northside School and will end at the Village Green.
All ages are welcome to march, the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce says, and the best costumes can win prizes in a costume contest. There will be pony rides, a petting zoo and candy for children.
Floats and classic cars can also join the parade. The parade ends at 4 p.m., but the chamber hopes attendees will stay and take advantage of downtown Farmingdale's dining and shopping afterward.
