East Farmingdale's Happy Days Dispensary Raises $33,766 For Breast Cancer Charity

EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — Happy Days Dispensary, a cannabis retailer in East Farmingdale, raised $33,766 in October to benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, the dispensary announced.

The dispensary ran an exclusive "Go Pink" menu for the entire month to support its fundraising effort.

The “Go Pink” campaign featured partnerships with leading brands such as Cannabals, Rhythm, Ayrloom, Gezoont, Naturae, the Long Island-owned Chime & Chill, and more. Each of these brands committed to a portion of sales, matched by Happy Days, to directly support breast cancer research and awareness. The community "enthusiastically embraced" the campaign, the business wrote.

Happy Days Dispensary presented a check Tuesday to Dr. Brian O’Hea and representatives from the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund, underscoring their shared commitment to fighting breast cancer. Richard Schaeffer from the Town of Babylon was also present.

"We are incredibly grateful to our customers and partners for rallying together for such an important cause," Paul Lepore, president of Happy Days, said in a news release. "This donation reflects the generosity and compassion of our community, and we’re honored to support the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund in their vital work."

The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund has been at the forefront of breast cancer research and patient support for decades, Happy Days stated.

"Donations like these help drive their mission forward," the business wrote. "Happy Days Dispensary extends its deepest gratitude to everyone involved in making this campaign a success, especially to those who joined in showing support by purchasing from the 'Go Pink' menu."
