Relay for Life Kick-Off Event

At the event, there will be an opportunity for teams to register for the 2012 Relay for Life all-night event at Farmingdale State College from June 15-16.  For $20, participants will get unlimited bowling, pizza and soda in addition to raffles and a bake sale at the kick-off

Nancy Loesch Performance

Why Go:
Seating is first come, first served for this event part of the Town of Oyster Bay Distinguished Artist Series. Her Quando Swing program will consist of great jazz favorites from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, and more.  All are welcome.

Fifth Annual Coldest Day of the Year Ride & Chili Cook-off

Where:
When: Jan. 29, 9 a.m.
Why Go: Calling all chili cooks, judges and cold weather riders: Adventure Cycles & Sports is hosting its fifth annual “Coldest Day of the Year Ride & Chili Cook-off,” which includes a 10-ish mile, casual pace, escorted bicycle ride on the roads of Farmingdale and South Farmingdale, a decorate your helmet contest (helmets mandatory for the ride), raffles and more. Post-ride there's a chili competition back at the store. Those interested in judging pay $10 for an official judges ballot, cold water and soda, chips and salsa, raffles and more. If you think your chili is up to the test, then enter as one of this year’s contestants. Watch last year's event
