Happening Now: Free I.D. Cards for Seniors
There's still time to get free I.D. cards that can help in an emergency.

Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr., R-Merrick, Sen. Kemp Hannon, R-Garden City, are joining Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano in sponsoring a free Senior ID Card Program in Farmingdale.
The program is going on today, Thursday, until 4 p.m. at the Farmingdale Library, located at 116 Merritts Road in Farmingdale.
Nassau County residents ages 65 and over are eligible to participate and
receive a free senior ID card. No appointments are necessary.
The program allows seniors to obtain a free wallet-sized ID card
which includes a photo, the holder’s personal contact information (name,
address, phone number, date of birth), and an emergency contact name and
phone number which could be useful to emergency responders.
