Howitt Students Follow Yellow Brick Road to 'Oz'

Farmingdale School District’s Howitt Middle School students recently put on an interactive production of the classic story, The Wizard of Oz. 

Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students in the Howitt Players Drama Club performed the roles of Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, The Wicked Witch and additional characters from the infamous Munchkins to the Flying Monkeys.

Farmingdale High School drama students assisted the performers backstage as they helped with set and costume design. The lively audience applause proved both performances were a “wicked” success.
