Mangano Honors 50-year S. Farmingdale Treasurer, Firefighter

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano was on hand recently to honor South Farmingdale F.D. Treasurer and Firefighter Olinto Parenti for 50 years of dedicated service. 

Joining Mangano and sponsoring the award ceremony was Richard Smythe, Vice President of JetBlue, which provided a round trip airline ticket in recognition of Treasurer Parenti’s distinguished service. 

Also in attendance were Chief Fire Marshal Scott D. Tusa, Fire Commissioner Rick Gardner, Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos, and members of the South Farmingdale Fire Department.
