The Melting Pot Of Farmingdale Undergoes 'Full Upgrade' Renovation

All-new decor and an open bar area, designed to encourage diner socialization, are part of the remodel.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant, underwent a "full upgrade" renovation to celebrate its 17th anniversary in Farmingdale, the eatery announced.

The transformation of the 2377 Broadhollow Road digs is part of a company-wide initiative called Melting Pot Evolution, aimed at enhancing the dining atmosphere and experience of all its restaurants.

"We're thrilled to introduce these changes at our restaurant," said Donald Sanusi, Melting Pot Farmingdale general manager in a news release. "It's all about creating a space where our community and guests feel truly welcome. With a more open floor plan and inviting bar area, along with fresh design touches, we’re making the fondue dining experience even more enjoyable without losing the warm hospitality we’re known for."

"Enhancing the bar was another pivotal renovation to help create an inviting space for guests to socialize with dips and sips," the restaurant stated.

The open bar now features new booth seating and bar stools and a core cocktail area where bartenders create handcrafted cocktails. To celebrate the new bar area, the restaurant recently launched a new Down to Fondue Happy Hour, served Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., with half off cheese and chocolate fondues, and $9 handcrafted cocktails and beer and wine specials.

Melting Pot prides itself on being a place to celebrate big or small achievements — such as engagements, bachelorette parties, promotions or even good report cards.

"We are excited to see general managers like Donald build an amazing dining experience within their community," said CEO Bob Johnston. "Melting Pot has historically been a place to build special moment memories, and now, with our updated experience, it is for the frequent diner looking for an incredible, consistent perfect night out."
