Nassau Man, 80, Dies After Being Hit By Driver In Stolen Car: PD
The man was a resident of South Farmingdale, police say.
SOUTH FARMINGDALE, NY — An 80-year-old man was killed after a crash in South Farmingdale on Friday morning, Nassau County police said.
According to police, Peter Morris of South Farmingdale was entering a 2012 Hyundai parked in front of Woodward Parkway when his vehicle was struck by a stolen 2013 Nissan being operated by a 24-year-old man at 11:41 a.m.
Peter Morris suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The driver, Randy Colon of Hicksville, fled the scene on foot, and officers located him nearby and placed him under arrest, police said.
Colon is charged with second-degree manslaughter, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, fourth-degree grand larceny, and leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death, police said.
