Overnight Road Closures Coming To Bethpage State Parkway

Both directions of the parkway will be closed overnight starting Monday.

TOWN OF OYSTER BAY, NY — Overnight road closures are looming for the Bethpage State Parkway in the Town of Oyster Bay, the New York State Department of Transportation announced Thursday.

The closures are slated to begin Monday, and both directions of the Bethpage State Parkway will be shut down between the Southern State Parkway and Bethpage State Park from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weeknights. The closures are because of a guide rail rehabilitation project and are expected to last around a month, weather permitting.

State Route 135 (Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway) and State Route 110 will be available as alternate routes, the NYSDOT said.
