Pedestrian Hit By Car In South Farmingdale: Police
The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital, and the driver remained at the scene, police say.
SOUTH FARMINGDALE, NY — A pedestrian was struck by a car early Sunday in South Farmingdale, Nassau police said.
A man, 36, was hit by a 2018 Nissan while he was crossing eastbound on Hempstead Turnpike near Dolphin Drive around 12:05 a.m., police said. The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment and was listed in stable condition, police said.
The driver, a 36-year-old man, remained at the scene, police said. No other injuries were reported.
