Police ID Bicyclist Killed In Farmingdale Car Crash
The bicyclist was killed early Tuesday when he was struck by a car, police say.
FARMINGDALE, NY — Antonio Jesus Vicente Sanic, 41, of Farmingdale, was identified as the bicyclist killed in a collision with a car early Tuesday in Farmingdale, Nassau police said.
A man, 37, was driving a 2008 Honda CRV southbound on Fulton Street when he was involved in a collision with Vicente Sanic, who was riding a bicycle at the intersection of Staples Street around 5:05 a.m., police said.
Vicente Sanic was pronounced dead at 5:11 a.m. by a police medic at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
