Results: Farmingdale Village 2024 Election

The mayor and two trustees ran unopposed. The mayor says the board is "looking forward to serving the residents and businesses."

FARMINGDALE, NY — Farmingdale Village voters went to the polls on Tuesday to elect the board of trustees.

Mayor Ralph Ekstrand ran unopposed and received 448 votes. Trustees William Barrett (445 votes) and Walter Priestley (449 votes) were re-elected after running unopposed, as well, according to the village.

All terms are four years. It was a "record turnout" for an uncontested election in the Village of Farmingdale, according to the village.

Ekstrand and the trustees thanked voters for their "vote of confidence and ongoing support."

"We look forward to serving the residents and businesses to continue to make Farmingdale 'The Place to Be!'" Ekstrand said.
