Farmingdale elementary school celebrates with reading and a feast
Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School rang in the Chinese New Year with a special cultural celebration recently.
Students learned about the Chinese New Year celebration by reading about the Year of the Snake, the Red Dragon, and Chinese lucky red envelopes.
There was a feast of authentic Chinese cuisine as well as arts and crafts.
