Saltzman Holds Family Math Night

The Farmingdale School District’s Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School (SEM) recently hosted Family Math Night. 

Students, parents and teachers attended the fun-filled event, featuring math inspired games and activities.

The evening began with students estimating how many Lucky Charms cereal pieces were in a jar. Later, the winner was announced and the winning student received a Mmath-filled basket of goodies.

Treats were served while parents and students rotated between the various math stations focusing on place values, graphing and math facts with dominoes.
