Target Sets Job Fair to Hire 300
Hiring set for next week to staff new Huntington Station store, minutes from Farmingdale.
Farmingdale-area job seekers take note: Target plans a job fair next week to hire about 300 workers for its new Huntington Station store.
The walk-in job fair is scheduled for Whitman High School, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
Target representatives said most of the jobs are part time. It is also accepting applications at Target.com/careers
The store is scheduled to open in October on the site of the old Huntington Town House on East Jericho Turnpike.
