Police ID 73-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed In Farmingdale Crash

FARMINGDALE, NY — A 73-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car as she walked in Farmingdale on Saturday night, Nassau police said.

Susan Kennedy, of Farmingdale, was walking on Fulton Street from the south to the north side of the street just west of Main Street when she was hit by a Toyota traveling westbound on Fulton Street at 8:08 p.m., police said.

The driver, an 18-year-old man, stayed at the scene, police said.

A Farmingdale Fire Department ambulance brought Kennedy to a hospital, where she died about an hour later, police said.

Police are investigating.
