Woman Critically Injured In South Farmingdale Crash
The woman was crossing a street when she was hit by a car, police say.
SOUTH FARMINGDALE, NY — A pedestrian was seriously injured in a South Farmingdale crash on Friday night, Nassau police said.
A woman, 24, was crossing the road near Spencer and West Chestnut streets when she was hit by a 2018 Jeep driven by a 35-year-old man around 7:05 p.m., police said. The driver was making a left turn onto Spencer Street, police said.
The woman was brought to a local hospital by police ambulance, where she was listed in critical condition, police said.

The driver remained at scene, and no other injuries were reported, police said.
