38-Year-Old Arrested After Brandishing Gun At Landscaper: Police
The man became confrontational during his arrest, police say.
VALLEY STREAM, NY. — A 38-year-old man was arrested Saturday after brandishing a handgun at a landscaper in Valley Stream, police said.
38-year-old Valley Stream resident Jesse DeMarco brandished a gun at a landscaper just after 1:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. After arriving at the scene, police said they investigated the area and found DeMarco nearby. DeMarco became confrontational with police as they attempted to arrest him, police said.
After investigating the scene, police said they located a Ruger .380 pistol, a Sig Sauer 9 mm pistol and a switchblade knife. DeMarco is now facing two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count of second-degree menacing and one count of resisting arrest, police said.
