Bicyclist, 15, In Critical Condition After Nassau Crash: Police
The driver, 75, remained at the scene after the crash, police say.
WOODMERE, NY — A 15-year-old boy was critically injured in a Woodmere crash Tuesday night, police said.
According to Nassau County police, the crash took place at 7:23 p.m.; a 75-year-old man driving a 2003 Lexus was traveling northbound on Branch Boulevard, north of Branch Gate, when he was involved in a collision with the teen, who was also traveling northbound on Branch Boulevard.
The bicyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment; he is currently in critical condition, police said.

The man driving the Lexus remained at the scene; no further injuries were reported, police said.
