Chuck E. Cheese Sets Valley Stream Grand Opening Date

VALLEY STREAM, NY — Chuck E. Cheese is set to host a grand opening celebration in Valley Stream from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 13, according to a news release.

The family entertainment fun center is in Green Acres Commons in Valley Stream, offering food, games and birthday parties.

The new-look Chuck E. Cheese features the arcade, sports and kid-focused games with varying skill levels for players of all ages, an interactive dance floor, a large format video wall and screens with audio connected throughout the fun center to provide a more immersive entertainment experience for guests and birthday parties. The Chuck E. Live! Show will feature a fully immersive dance-along and concert with music, lights, and interactive dance floor.

Grand opening attendees can enjoy free cake and a chance to win raffle prizes, such as an ultimate FUN birthday package for up to 10 kids or a limited-edition Gold VIP Play Band good for an entire year of unlimited game play. Additionally, the first 25 families in line will receive one hour of free game play during the event.

Cheese will deliver an interactive game and food concept to Valley Stream bringing local families a place to come together for affordable entertainment," said Jill Bromberg, marketing manager at Green Acres, in a news release. "This new immersive retailer will transform Green Acres Commons, an extension of the mall, into more than a shopping destination by offering an in-person experience with games, music and more."

Chuck E. Cheese stated it is "committed to giving back to the communities it serves" and donates more than $1.5 million each year to local schools and non-profits across the U.S. and Canada and is "excited to bring the same support to the Valley Stream community."
