Herricks' Cheung Wins Apprentice Challenge

Herricks High School freshman Justin Cheung, along with his marketing team, took home first place at the annual Adelphi Apprentice Challenge.

Fourteen other students from the high school’s business courses also participated in the event on Nov. 20 at Adelphi University.

Students were placed in groups with others from high schools across Long Island. They were asked to develop and present a strategic marketing plan in front of a panel of judges, consisting of business professionals and industry leaders. Cheung and his team won VIP access to a concert of their choice.
