Hewlett-Woodmere Budget Passes in Landslide
Voters have decided on the proposed 2015-16 budget.

Hewlett-Woodmere voted Tuesday to approve the school district’s $113.63 million proposed budget on Tuesday 1,169-488 votes.
The budget includes a 1.49 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 1.41 percent tax levy increase.
Board of Education incumbents Jonathan Altus, Melissa Gates, and Stephen Witt ran unopposed and were re-elected.
