Here are the top three stories today in Five Towns:
- Car thieves were caught on camera trying to open several vehicles parked in Manhasset driveways on Knickerbocker Road in Manhasset Sunday morning. Nassau police said car thefts are up 207 percent over last year, and they are happening all over the county. (News 12)
- A new Filipino restaurant opened in East Meadow recently. Kusinera is located at 92 E. Meadow Ave. (Subscription: Newsday)
- A customer at Cabo Restaurant in Rockville Centre had her credit card stolen, according to the Rockville Centre police report. (Patch)

- First responders were called to a house fire in Bellmore early Sunday. One man, 54, was rescued by police with no reported injuries. (Patch)
- Two men were indicted for the murder of a 23-year-old victim in Baldwin during an apparent drug deal in October 2021. Darin Semple, 20, of Freeport, was arraigned on second-degree murder, first-and second-degree robbery charges along with Devin Obleanis, 21, of Central Islip. (Patch)
- Rockland-based Pfizer is recalling its Accupril blood pressure medication because of high levels of a nitrosamine that can cause cancer. (News 12)
