Lawrence High School Students Explore Museum of Natural History

Lawrence High School’s Global I students embarked on an educational field trip to the world-renowned Museum of Natural History in New York City. The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the subjects they have been studying in the classroom.
As part of their Global I curriculum, students explore a wide range of topics, including ancient civilizations and the development of human societies. From the ancient fossils that link students to early human history to the rich cultural displays of early civilizations, the museum offers a tangible connection to the historical periods and events students studied in their classrooms.

The trip included guided tours that connected the museum’s impressive collections to key themes in Global I, with students engaging in hands-on activities and discussions to further enhance their understanding of world history.
