🌱 LIPA To Pay Island Park Schools + Hewlett On Best Schools List

1. LIPA has reached an agreement with the Island Park School District to settle a lawsuit challenging LIPA’s effort to reduce its tax payments on a power plant property in the district.
   LIPA will make a one-time payment of an undisclosed amount. (Subscription: Newsday)
2. Northwell Health has received a $100,000 grant from New York state to fund its Behavioral Health Center in Rockville Centre. The center provides mental health care to children and teens along with nine Nassau County school districts. (LI Herald)
3. George W. Hewlett High School was ranked 32 on a list of Best Public High Schools in 2022 released by Niche.com. (Patch)
