Long Beach Branch Service Restored After Car Removed From Tracks
The vehicle was stuck at the Rocklyn Avenue grade crossing on Friday morning.
EAST ROCKAWAY, NY — Service was restored on the Long Beach branch of the Long Island Railroad after a car got stuck on the tracks in East Rockaway.
The incident happened at the Rocklyn Avenue grade crossing Friday morning, according to tweet from the LIRR.
It was just west of Centre Avenue, causing the termination of trains eastbound at Valley Stream while police investigated.

Once the vehicle was removed, crews inspected the tracks for damage, the LIRR said.
