Man Enters Unlocked Building, Leaves With Bedding, Clothes And Stuffed Animals: Police
Police say the incident took place just after 5 a.m. Wednesday.
LAWRENCE, NY. — A burglary that took place in North Lawrence is under investigation Wednesday after a man entered an unlocked door and absconded with bags of clothing, bedding and stuffed animals, police said Wednesday afternoon.
Nassau County police said the incident occurred just after 5 a.m. Wednesday, and described the unknown man as hispanic, standing 5-feet, 8-inches, weighing 150 lbs. The man left the building and headed in an unknown direction while wearing a red sweatshirt, multicolored grey jacket, black sweatpants, white sneakers and a hat, police said.
Police said an investigation into the robbery is ongoing, and anyone with information regarding the man’s whereabouts can contact crime stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.
