Lawrence High School's Virtual Enterprise Class Achieves Outstanding Success at NYSNortheast Region Business Plan Competition and Trade Show

Tornado Watch, the Lawrence High School Virtual Enterprise class, achieved remarkable success at the New York State Northeast Region Business Plan Competition and Trade Show, which was held on Thursday, January 9th. The team demonstrated excellence in both business strategy and innovative marketing, with standout achievements in sales and competition categories.


Tornado Watch earned an impressive $137,000 in sales, providing cyber security protection plans to customers during the event. Their commitment to high-quality, impactful products resonated with attendees, showcasing their strong understanding of the growing need for cybersecurity in today’s digital landscape. In addition to their sales success, Tornado Watch was also awarded a Silver Award in the newsletter competition, demonstrating their ability to effectively communicate and engage with their audience.


“We are incredibly proud of Tornado Watch’s performance,” said the team’s instructor, Mr. Palladino. “Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork truly paid off, and it was exciting to see their innovative cybersecurity solutions receive such positive attention.”

A special thank you to Ms. Levey, who chaperoned the trip and supported the students throughout the event. Mr. Verone’s guidance was also crucial in helping the students design and create branded hats, which became a highly popular marketing giveaway at the trade show.
