Queens Man Arrested After Valley Stream Car Break-Ins

Pierre, 20, accused of three recent thefts on E. Argyle Street

A Queens man was arrested after he allegedly broke into two cars early on Dec. 6 in Valley Stream.

Bionick Pierre, 20, of 145-86 176th Street, was placed under arrest after the incidents, which occurred at 4:24 a.m.

According to detectives, 911 received a call about a man entering two separate vehicles parked on E. Argyle Street. When the police arrived, the officers observed Pierre running northbound on E. Argyle Street and climbing a fence. After a brief pursuit on foot, Pierre was arrested. An iPhone, iPod, mini flashlights, a silver-colored chain and a blue change purse were recovered after the arrest.

After an investigation, it was discovered that Pierre had also allegedly entered an automobile parked on E. Argyle Street on Nov. 27, stealing an undetermined amount of money, a laptop computer and an Apple Air Book.

Pierre is being charged with fourth degree grand larceny and four counts of petit larceny. He was to be arraigned on Dec. 7 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
