Vehicle Fire Cleared From Southern State Parkway

VALLEY STREAM, NY — A vehicle fire has been cleared from the Southern State Parkway.

The Tuesday morning incident was eastbound between Exit 13N (North Central Avenue) and Exit 14 (Fletcher Avenue) and blocked three lanes.

State police told Patch that two cars were involved in a crash and one vehicle went into flames in the wooded area off the highway.
