Woman Critically Injured In Nassau Crash
The woman was in the passenger seat during a three-car crash, police say. A second woman was also injured, police say.
INWOOD, NY — A woman suffered critical injuries in a three-car crash in Inwood on Tuesday afternoon, Nassau police said.
A 64-year-old man was driving a white 2018 Honda driven southbound on Nassau Expressway when he collided with a blue 2019 Honda driven by a 24-year-old woman heading in the opposite direction, police said. The collision sent the blue Honda careening into a dark 2020 Kia driven by a 49-year-old woman, who was also heading north, police said.
A woman who was a passenger in the white Honda, whose age police didn't immediately release, was listed in critical condition. The driver, along with a teenage passenger, were not hurt, police said.

The woman driving the blue Honda was flown to a hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, police said.
The operator of the Kia stayed at the scene and was not hurt, police said.

Police are investigating the crash. Detectives asked anyone with information regarding the crash to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
