Roosevelt School District Hosts Vibrant Community Wellness Fair
Students and their Families Come Together to Celebrate Fitness, Nutrition and Mindfulness
The Roosevelt School District recently welcomed students, staff and community members together for a successful and spirited Wellness Fair. From energizing Zumba and soothing yoga sessions to a variety of delicious and nutritious snacks, the event highlighted the importance of health, fitness and connection.
“We are incredibly proud of how our community came together to support and celebrate wellness,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Shawn Wightman. “Events like these remind us of the power of connection, joy, and taking care of ourselves and each other.”
The Wellness Fair served as a celebration of both physical and mental well-being, encouraging students, families, and staff to explore healthy habits in a fun, engaging environment. Attendees enjoyed hands-on activities, informative wellness resources, and a shared sense of community throughout the day.
