Winning Lottery Ticket Bought In Freeport

FREEPORT, NY — One lucky lottery player is $41,521.50 richer after purchasing a winning TAKE 5 ticket in Freeport.

The winning ticket for the Aug. 19 drawing was purchased at Lucky Spot Deli and Grocery on N. Main Street, according to New York lottery officials.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is broadcasted twice daily at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. A lottery draw game prize can be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
