NASHVILLE, TN — Police are seeking a bar patron for questioning in connection with a double stabbing in Nashville in which a Long Island University football player was slain. Clayton Beathard, 22, was stabbed to death early Saturday in his Nashville following what authorities called an argument about a woman. The dispute began inside The Dogwood bar and became physical outside.

Beathard's brother is San Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard. Detectives investigating the slayings are asking for help in finding Michael Mosley, 23, who they strongly believe has "definitive information about the murders." He was only being sought for questioning. Mosley was inside and outside the bar, police said, including during the fight.
