Brookville Center Kids Receive Gift of Eye Care
Emerging Vision, Sterling Optical's parent company donates to special needs kids.

Students with developmental disabilities from the Brookville Center for Children’s Services and their families, were the first beneficiaries of Emerging Vision’s newest national initiative, Project Eyesight.
The 501(c)3 charitable organization provides free on-site eye exams and glasses to low-income and special needs communities in the United States who might not otherwise have ready access to treatment, organizers said. This initiative is especially meaningful to Emerging Vision’s Chief Executive Officer Glenn Spina, who has traveled the world providing vision care in impoverished areas.
“Across the United States, vision is a luxury that many take for granted. Sterling Optical’s 100th anniversary is the perfect opportunity to give back and engage with our customers and the communities we serve in ways we’ve never had the ability to before,” Spina said.
“Project Eyesight will enable us to be charitable right here at home and fulfill our vision of providing free eye care to low-income and special needs communities throughout the United States.”

"It is a wonderful opportunity for them to start a healthy routine of eye care that will last a lifetime. ”
