Children's Bicycle Parade To Kick Off Glen Cove July 4th Festivities
The parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m. at Robert Finley Middle School. A concert and fireworks are planned at night.
GLEN COVE, NY — A children's bicycle parade will kick off the day's festivities in Glen Cove on July 4.
Parade participants will gather at the horseshoe at Robert Finley Middle School on Forest Avenue at 9:30 a.m. with the procession following at 10 a.m. through downtown Glen Cove, ending at the village square. Organizers are asking participants decorate their bicycles, scooters, wagons, strollers, or battery-operated vehicles with red, white, and blue.
They also urged participants not to forget their helmets.

The procession will conclude with Mayor Panzenbeck leading the pledge of allegiance, and there will be patriotic songs.
Refreshments will be served.

Later in the day, BonJourney will perform at 7:30 p.m. at Morgan Memorial Park followed by a fireworks display.
The rain date is July 5.
