A Glen Cove man faces Leandra’s Law charges after he was involved in a crash in Jericho Wednesday while driving with his toddler, authorities said.

Nassau Police say Juan Martinez Landaverde, 34, was driving south on Broadway near Manhattan Drive at 5:50 p.m. when he became involved in an auto accident with a vehicle stopped for a red light.

After police arrived, they determined that Landaverde was driving while intoxicated. His 2-year-old daughter was in a child carseat, but was unrestrained, police said.
