Voters Approve Glen Cove Budget, Elect Trustees
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Glen Cove residents approved a 2018-19 school budget on Tuesday.
The $88,209,126 budget passed with 857 yes votes and 475 no votes, according to the school district. The budget is a 2.68 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 1.99 percent tax levy increase.
Residents also elected Rosemarie Sekelsky, Gail Nedbor-Gross and Mary Murphy to the Glen Cove Board of Education.
