Attempted Robbery Investigated At Macy's In Manhasset: Police
An unknown female tried to take assorted merchandise, including earrings and clothing, and scuffled with an employee, cops say.

MANHASSET, NY — Detectives are investigating an attempted robbery at Macy's in Manhasset on Sunday, Nassau police said.
At around 2:30 p.m., an unknown female went inside the Northern Boulevard department store, and tried to place assorted store merchandise, included earrings and clothing, into a black tote bag before trying to leave without paying, according to police.
A store employee questioned her conduct and the suspect pushed the employee before taking off empty-handed in an unknown direction, police said.

Detectives are requesting anyone with information about the robbery to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, or call 911.
