GREAT NECK, NY — A Bethpage man is accused of stealing paychecks from mailboxes in Great Neck.

Vincent Derosa, 41, was taken into custody just after midnight on Sunday, authorities said.

He was first spotted yelling in the street on East Mill Drive. During their investigation, officers found that Derosa had multiple paychecks that didn't belong to him. He admitted to removing them from residential mailboxes, police said.

Derosa was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He was issued an appearance ticket with a return court date of April 7.
