2 Injured In Late-Night East Harlem NYCHA Blaze: FDNY
It took nearly an hour for firefighters to get the flames under control, officials said.

HARLEM, NY — A late-night blaze at an East Harlem NYCHA building on Monday left two people injured, according to FDNY officials.
The flames broke out at around 9:20 p.m. inside a seven-story building at 355 East 112th Street, according to officials, part of NYCHA's Thomas Jefferson Houses.
60 firefighters and medics rushed to the scene, where ti took them nearly an hour to get the flames under control, said an FDNY spokesperson.

The fire was knocked down by 10:18 p.m. and two people were left with minor injuries, according to officials.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials said.
